My name is Steve Driskill and my son Eli suffered from tics
and I was as perplexed and bewildered as you are now.
Even after spending hours and hours online looking for an answer, there was none.
I learned what to do from talking to people about what they did to free their kids from motor tics and other symptoms of Tourette's and then I further researched the underlying causes and found out why what they told me worked.
I spent as much time doing research offline as I did on. The bottom line is that yes, you can make your child's tics go away, forever.
I have found a way that hundreds of parents are using right now to ease, if not completely eliminate their child's facial, body, and vocal tics.
Yes it does, and if it didn't I would not put the time, effort, and so much of my own money into getting it out where everyone in the world who needs it could get it.
Does it work for everyone? No, nothing works for everyone.
Please read my son's story and rest assured that there is a way out.
My son, Aaron, has had both verbal and physical tics since he was three years old. He is now thirteen. For the past ten years he has alternated from one type of tic to another with small breaks in between. The doctor has continually said to just ignore them and they will eventually go away. They didn't, until we found your book. The past year, Aaron has had a verbal tic we described as hooting. He would make this hooting noise most of the day. Sometimes, he would start his sentences with it, making it sound like his voice was breaking but it wasn't. We would try to have him control it when he was in public, as it was very distracting. He really tried, but to no avail. After reading your book, we realized we shouldn't be making him try to suppress it. So, we told him we wouldn't be getting on to him about it. Then it was nonstop from the time he woke up until he went to bed. It was to the point we almost didn't want to be in the same room with him because it was constant and loud.We started using just one thing your book recommends and a miracle happened! His tics are gone! We started with one a day, but did not see much difference. We then went to two a day and saw a marked difference the first week. He has now been on it for two months and we haven't heard a hoot in at least a month. He has not shown any signs of physical tics either. We are so excited, and more importantly, he is very excited! He is much more at ease with his friends, and doesn't worry about disturbing anyone at church now. Thank you for all the research you did,
- Vicki Fisher
Eli is my ten year old son, the oldest of 4. When he was 4 years old, we noticed that he would pick at the shoulders of his shirt. That's when it all started...
He did this very often, and no matter how much we got on him, he could not stop. He did it all day at times. He did it at the table, and even during his t-ball games. We gave up and figured it was just a 'phase' and no big deal.
He did this very often, and no matter how much we got on him, he could not stop. He did it all day at times. He did it at the table, and even during his t-ball games. We gave up and figured it was just a 'phase' and no big deal.
Well, we forgot about it soon after it 'went away' and though it would return every now an then, we really didn't thing much about it, except maybe his shirts were bothering him.
Looking back on it now, I know EXACTLY what it was.
One night, when I got home from work, my wife asked me if I had ever noticed anything recently about Eli's eyes.
"No, why?"
She told me he was doing something ' funny' with them when he talked, and didn't know if it was inadvertent or just him being silly. We never connected this and how he used to pick at his shirt.
Well, to make a long story short, he was shutting and rolling his eyes back in his head when he spoke, and it wasn't on purpose, and it scared the hell out of us.
His mother, Katie, my wife Sarah, and I discussed it and that it was unmistakable and we did what any concerned parent would do first: we had his eyes examined.
I felt like crying when the doctor told us that Eli had perfect vision.
We described what Eli was doing with his eyes, and he commented that he had noticed it as well during the eye exam before telling us that he had NO idea what it was and referring us to a neurologist.
Since you have read this far, I don't need to tell you the horror that we all felt leaving the pediatricians office.
I cannot begin to tell you how absolutely petrified I was for weeks before I came upon a discovery that made Eli's tics go away completely.
Dear Steve,
I just wanted to let you know how amazing the results have been from incorporating what you teach into my child's diet every day.Not only are my son's facial ticks gone but his auditory sensitivity that had been a big problem has greatly improved. He suffers from sensory/ tactile dysfunction and has been in Occupational Therapy on and off for two years. It helped short term but the diet changes have evened out his overall person and he seems better able to deal with the sensory issues that trouble him. Thank you very much for the time and effort you put into your book. My husband and I were very concerned when our son developed a string of pretty significant ticks ( flapping an arm, vocal grunt and head bob).It saddened us to see him unable to control himself. I didn't want him to get teased at school. He is very bright and of course we wanted him to succeed and not be brought down by teasing. As a result of your book our whole family is eating better and we all feel healthier. My son's ticks stopped in about a week!Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Let me give some pretext to this discovery, first...
It was going to be six weeks until our appointment with the neurologist, and every single night we would all have trouble falling asleep, and worried constantly about what it might be.
When the day came to finally see the neurologist, I had already been online and came upon the conclusion myself, more or less that what Eli had was Tourette's Syndrome. (I had already researched Facial Tics, Chronic Motor Tic Disorder, and Tourette's Syndrome rather thoroughly at this point.)
The neurologist, Dr. Jim Wilson in Roanoke, Va. observed Eli and administered
the perfunctory test before confirming that Eli did in fact have
Tourette's, and there was pretty much nothing to be
done other than putting him on some pretty powerful and sometimes dangerous
medication that would
undoubtedly further the appearance of some
aggressive ADHD symptoms Eli had.
No thanks.
Steve, just a short note to say thank you!
I have had my son's on the suggested vitamins for the last week and the tic's are gone! One had facial and vocal tic's and the other would cough and clear his throat all day. I had to go with the vitamin supplements because we are in Japan and finding the other products is not easy to do. I did not take any food away from them, one is a very picky eater and it was a miracle that he could get a vitamin down (it took betting him five bucks he couldn't do it, he won). Thanks again, Stu.

The drugs commonly used to treat tic disorders are haloperidol (Haldol), clonidine (Catapres), pimozide (Orap), fluphenazine (Prolixin, Permitil), and clonazepam (Klonopin).
The reason I absolutely DID NOT want my son on these drugs is because the side effects include depression, aggression, nausea, fatigue, and worstly a condition known as Tardive Dyskinsinesea. This is when a person has a reaction to these drugs that is an extreme movement disorder and is sometimes irreversible.
There was no way I was giving these to Eli.
However, if your child is on medication for Tourette's DON'T take them off of it, buy my book, and ignore your doctor. Instead talk to your doctor about modifying your child's diet and dietary supplements and the risks and rewards of doing so, so that your child CAN stop taking medication.
The dramatic breakthrough for Eli came about two weeks later when a friend of my sister, who lives in Texas, called my sister and told her about a completely natural and common sense-based technique that would END the tics IMMEDIATELY.
Understandably, I was all ears and willing to try anything. I was every bit as desperate then as you are now.
Two weeks later, Eli, as predicted by my Sister's friend in Texas, Eli was free from Tics! Now, even as remarkable at it was, I simply could not take this at face value. I researched all the science involved in "why" this worked so well.
I have spent over 200 hours researching exactly "why" this works, so that any parent can use it to stop their child's tics.
And thats when I made this important discovery...
The solution that was offered by my Sister's friend was only approximately a third of the equation, but ultimately led me to research and uncover the other two-thirds to come about a complete solution that a parent can implement and get results from almost instantly.
Please bear in mind, that there is no magic pill or end all be all cure for Tourette's Syndrome.
But the information in my book "How To End Your Child's Tics Now" has worked for HUNDREDS of families.
Dear Steve:
When Kelly was almost 10 she started with motor tics, shaking her head incessantly. This continued for a week and then it seemed to move into her shoulders and trunk where she would make violent shrugs and drag her leg. I also noticed that she had started vocal tics by sniffing, squeaking, grunting and clearing her throat. We took her for blood tests, an EEG and MRI which all seemed normal. As you can imagine, I totally panicked and immediately got hold of a genetic specialist who specialized in Tourette's syndrome. He suggested trying Fluanxol to reduce the tics which did happen for a couple of weeks, then came back. We then had to increase the dosage. We noticed her gaining weight immediately, and getting very lethargic and listless. After six weeks, the tics were still there and we had a miserable child. The doctor suggested changing her medication to Orap, which once we read the side effects, were not prepared to try. We then decided to try zoloft which a neurologist had suggested. She became immediately nauseous and still very miserable, with no sign of the tics going. In desperation, I stopped by the homeopathic section in a pharmacy and was helped by a lady there who put me in touch with a homeopath. His drops and pills seemed to help to a point, but the tics still remained but not as violent. By now, Kelly had had the tics for about 9 months. Then they seemed to disappear for a couple of months only to return. My constant fear throughout this time has been that they will get worse and she will start screaming or swearing. Finally in Dec 2006 I found your book. I have made the dietary changes you used for your son, Eli. There is a huge improvement although she still does tic, nothing like she used to. She complains about not being a normal kid who can eat and drink the same as her friends, but I keep reminding her how far she's progressed. Thank you Steve, your advice came at a time when I honestly thought that I couldn't go on any more and the fact that we can help her without having to drug her is a huge relief.
